What does an MIS Executive do?

An MIS (Management Information Systems) Executive collects, organises, and presents business data as reports and dashboards for management. They use Excel, SQL, and similar tools to create daily, weekly, and monthly reports that drive decisions.

Is this course suitable for someone with no computer background?

Yes. If you can use a Windows PC and navigate basic software, you can start this course. We begin with Excel fundamentals and build up from there. Many of our students had never used Pivot Tables before joining.

What is the difference between MIS & Reporting and Data Analytics?

MIS focuses on reporting, dashboards, and operational data management — the backbone of business operations. Data Analytics goes further into data-driven decision making, using SQL, Power BI, and Tableau for strategic insights. MIS is a faster, more focused path to a first job.

Do I need to learn programming or coding for this course?

No coding is required. VBA Macros in Module 5 involve simple scripting — but we teach it step-by-step and it is much simpler than learning a full programming language.

What kind of projects will I build?

Two industry-standard MIS projects: a monthly P&L Dashboard (built in Excel) and an Operational Tracker (built using SQL + Excel). Both are designed to be discussed in interviews as proof of skill.
